Watch Me Angel

My one and only collage piece... it was an assignment for AP Art (minus the anime aspect of it) done with xeroxes and glue stick and construction paper and sharpie. And it's actually quite large irl. The project was to make something representative of something we thing is an issue in society/the U.S./personal life and mine just happened to be a lack of time. I also chose to look deeper and hence derived the theme of "censorship" behind it - made ironic because anime (Japanese) and therefore watches (an American make) are in conflict with each other. And the play on words.

The only technical detail I'm annoyed with is how faded the final piece turned out; but I guess that's all I can expect from a xerox of a xerox of a xerox etc.... Now *here's* something to ponder... Were the black bars on that scrumptious body originally there?
